Are you missing out on Video Pins? 🎬

Published about 1 year ago • 1 min read

Hey Reader,

You know Pinterest is THE place for image content. But, Video Pins have made a huge splash in the algorithm recently.

If you haven’t used Video Pins yet, you're missing out!

So, how do you create a video pin that will stand out? Let's break it down:

  • First, log in to your Pinterest account and click on the ‘create’ button.
  • From there, select the ‘create pin’ option, and you’ll be taken to a screen where you can upload your video.
  • Make sure your video is high-quality and engaging, as this will be the main focus of your pin.
  • Next, select a cover photo that accurately represents your video and entices viewers to click on it.
  • Finally, choose the board where you want to save your pin and voila, you’re all set!

It's really as easy as 1, 2, 3 (and 4 and 5—technically)! 👏

Now, I know what you're thinking: "what if I don't like creating video or don't have that kind of time, Laura??"

Well, you can use pin graphics you already have!

One way to do this is by using animated graphics and images, such as GIFs or stop-motion animations. You can also use slideshow-style videos with still images and text overlays. Another option is to repurpose existing video content, such as a TV commercial or promotional video, into shorter clips or GIFs.

With a little creativity and some editing tools, you can create eye-catching video pins that will still capture your audience’s attention. Slam dunk, baby!

Find yourself needing more clarity when it comes to using Pinterest to boost your bottom line?

So many business owners either ignore Pinterest entirely (because they don't truly understand how it can work for them) or treat it like a social media platform.

Well, I've got a little secret for you: Pinterest is a search engine. So, you shouldn't be treating it like every other social media platform 🚫

You just need a sliver of the MILLIONS of people searching on Pinterest to discover YOUR content. With over 320 million monthly active users, Pinterest offers such a unique opportunity to drive targeted traffic.

In fact, one of my clients saw 10,897 more website visitors from a SINGLE post!
